Section 8 Voucher Program
The Section 8 Voucher Program is a federally funded program designed to create affordable housing opporunities for low income-families in the private market. Families are given the chance to search for a suitable unit and receive Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) for that unit. Participating families will usually pay no more than 30% of their monthly income towards their rent and utilities while the Section 8 Voucher Program subsidizes the remaining balance of the rent. The Woodbridge Housing Authority Section 8 Program offers local rental assistance to eligible families. For more information please contact the Housing Authority at 732-634-2750, ext. 123.
